Love this series my dude. This video in particular is perfect for my crew and I. Would love a 4 to 5 video.

I’m baffled at the lack of thumbs up and comments. Thanks so much for expressing your opinions and experiences. As a person at this point in paddling I find such content indispensable. Please continue to produce things of this nature. Thanks, be safe and paddle on!

Such a good talk. I just went through a 2 swim ordeal on the river (I’ve swam probably 5 times in 20 years) and felt completely indebted to my crew. Was worried about people wanting to paddle with me again and I got overwhelming support. Even got a few DMs from people not even on the river with me knowing how I was feeling saying they’d paddle with me any day. These are the people we should all strive to boat with.

You know very well how much I personally love and value these I am so grateful for this and your many other  contributions to the industry brother you’re good shit all the way

Great work Hannah and Alex. It’s far too easy to get overconfident just because you haven’t crashed yet so to hear your descriptions help me be honest with myself about my abilities. Keep up the good work!

Enjoyed that, thanks Hannah and Alex, excellent work.

Excellent discussion. Thanks for all of the quality content.

Hannah, I needed to hear your point on going back and scouting rapids I usually walk while keeping a fresh perspective. Good stuff! Thanks

Love it! Thanks for the great series 😊 I'm really hoping to make it out to your training camp this season.

Good content, very relatable!

Great series dude. On FB I’ve signed up for your top4 series and stoked to get out there a paddle with you. I have allot of fun on lV over here in NH I guess I’m really looking to dial in my lV skills and stoked to have you as a coach for a couple days 🤙🏼

Ugh now I gotta make you guys cookies 🙃❤️

What creek boat would you recommend for a small size paddler, 120 pounds?

Video makes a lot of good points but some points in ‘dynamics’ and ‘Phycological’ gives off an elitist vibe I would never want some who is a weaker paddler or not as good to feel they need to make up for there swims or feel as if they owe me and think some how I’m not going to paddle with them just because I had to rescue them, here is the crazy thing we have all been there we are all between swims to not invite someone paddling or not get them involved because they mite swim (unless the river is very much out of the picture 4+ to 5) is so hurtful to someone’s development as a paddler and I think when your giving advice to these paddlers that are going 3-4 this is going to give them a complex that makes them think everyone is going to be like you guys are which ‘in my opinion’ is not ok and very, like I said, ‘elitist’

I’m learning on class 3. It’s a man made course so it’s very safe, yet I still get intimidated. My roll is 50/50 and I can’t even side surf yet. I get to paddle once per week max. I realise just how far I’ve got to go yet. There’s some really good kayakers here, just had world freestyle championships, met Dane and Eric Jackson. Hopefully one day I’ll have the skills to attempt class 4. I’m 48 already though, didn’t start kayaking until mid 40s. I suppose time will tell if I make it. But I improve every session and enjoy it all the same
