See this is why I'm confused by people who said they "expected more" from this comeback. I know a lot of people are disappointed by IOMT but i have to readily disagree I think this has been a wonderful refreshing switchup and i think your theory actually kind of helps prove my point.

Going off the idea that the house is a metaphor for what ateez have built and by burning part of it down they're essentially rebuilding themselves, i think that could make sense and i dont think it's BAD. I would be more worried if they stagnated themselves into one particular sound but theyre not. Also, we all have to remember they're coming up on 7 years as idoos, they're adults now. They're not kids anymore they're men who have built a career or doing their own thing and changing as they see fit. Theyre being given more control over their careers, they're being handed the proverbial reins of their lives as idols. I really like the theory on what the house and the MV represents in a meta sense. The MV from a lore perspective to me is Halateez's side of the incident of Answer.

The house is i think being alluded to being the same location, and what furrhers rhat theory is the prominence of the chandelier in the promos and in the video. A beautiful crystal chandelier that the only ither time we see besides IOMT is in Answer where the guardian arrives after the mansion has burnt down and a chandelier is lying crashed among debris. When i first saw Answer i assumed it was snow we saw blowing around. I think it was actually ash.

Ateez and Halateez have their meeting and while ateez flees the scene, Halateez burns the evidence down around them before alao fleeing before the guardian can show up.

Anyway those are my musings

This is why I love watching your videos because you see the real artistry in the videos and music. Many people get disappointed so fast but Ateez is one of those groups where one thing could be a million different things and everything means SOMETHING. Same thing with the music, if you listen to it one time taking it at face value without reading the lyrics you take it one way. You read the lyrics and your whole perspective changes.

This could very well be the last Golden Hour album. So far they've done: 5 Treasure albums (1, 2, 3, Fin, & Epilogue), 4 Fever albums (1, 2, 3, & Epilogue) 3 World Albums (1, 2, & Fin). So maybe 2 Golden Hours albums and 1 final solo album to wrap up this part of their career and story?

The day they picked to release is insane!  So many astro events, it was a full moon we will never ever see again, and Saturn went direct, much more around BIG change never going back.....I'm ATINY one year anniversary September!  You are on point - new beginning here whether they know or not! im not a loretiny, i but i just remember novmber 15th was a full moon day. the jongho scene with the pocket watch and furniture dragging has to do somthing with the chromer. (fyi chromer is the device the atz use to travel back and forth between world A and word Z, and it workd only on full moon)

One thing I love about Ateez lore that was added in this mv is that they are supposed to symbolize chess pieces in the order they're sitting in the intro and outro. The members are mirroring each other, except for Hongjoong and Seonghwa. Yunho and Mingi are two rooks, the twins towers. San and Jongho are knights, the strongest members. Yeosang and Wooyoung are two bishops, the genius and sly foxes. Hongjoong is the respected king and Seonghwa is the queen, the most powerful piece, which is why he sat down last. Genius 🫡

For Yeosang as a ventriloquist with the masked reporters I thought of Roxie Hart from Chicago the musical ("We both reached for the gun").

With all the dentists theory I noticed that in first chorus choreo when Woo sings "I bought diamonds at my dentist" on dentist Woo is doing " with his fingers implying that the "dentist" is not really his main job

i don't think they have any connection but i find it interesting how in halazia they said "the little blue bird that lost its voice" vs here they said "the little bird has a lot to say".
