This update buffed so many cars with the new engine swaps. All the GTRs went from being bad to very good, Furai and 787B became even better and can compete with Alfa 048SP now, Audi S1 Quattro and LMS got even better, and there are brand new stuff that can be raced in A class now. That was just some of the big changes these new engine swaps brought. It changed the meta so much and made so many more cars, especially to JDMs,  much better for racing, and I'm so happy about that.

I'm really looking forward to what the devs have in store.

i love when cool cars are actually undrivable

Fun fact: here in germany the 2CV is also called "Ente", which means duck.

I like how the devs' solution to a bunch of meta cars is to just try and make everything meta

Its like watching clarkson driving the reliant robin

8:00 this guy in the chat called it right on the dot

The next focus should be the game. this updates to meta and online is amazing. But not everyone will play online over the base game. I understand that focusing on online is easier than adding stuff to the base game in terms of longevity.  But with the dlcs around the corner and the PlayStation release the game still feels bottom heavy. The base game can be finished so quickly that once you do it all you have is online. All the cool features we were looking forward too just went to the back of the line in in the game. The garages the car meets hell even the map all lose their flare after the game progression ends.

This is why I think we should be able to put any engine in any car

It also adds more customization as even tho engine swapping isnt a huge customization complaint in this game more freedom is always better than less

Those engine swaps will be an absolute menace online! 🤣🤣

Thanks to the new engine swaps: 787B in s1 class, the audi quattro s1 is even more meta, and the T50 has more power potential than before

20:25 that's called a power creep, we dont want that. If we keep balancing everything up to the most broken car in the game, everything just keeps getting faster and faster. Eventually A Class will feel like S1 class, or B Class will feel like A Class. This exact design to meta balancing is why games like fortnite and bo7 are losing appeal

spoiler, the m4 cs has a full Adro wide body kit!

8:54, funny thing, Golden already said "Too busy rolling over" in chat when Nick noticed that Golden doesn't have a tune.

Here 6:59

The little Citroën exposed FH6's dry surface anti-roll magnetism in full force. Yes, that's the reason you rolled over so easily on mud, yet failed to do so on dry asphalt no matter what. lol

For me a proper fix to the meta should include giving the swaps appropriate PI amounts. Even if the added engine options add a car or two to the meta here and there (instead of introducing something new at the top that's just even more broken), the underlying issue is still that everything is AWD and most builds include a V10 with centri. The variety increase is more optics than anything else at that point, because they all sound and handle the same.

I hope some American cars can get some more swaps from other American vehicles, especially some of the Mopar vehicles not having the hellcat swap

How about some universal neon
