Great video. Thank you!!! As a beginner in the art of pottery, I love videos that show all the steps of the process.

I made one of these in my pottery class and in 2 days someone else wants to make one with me. Great videos

I always enjoy your gentle and realistic teaching style

I am only four years into my pottery addiction and still learn something every time I watch one of your videos Vaughn!  YOU are an amazing potter and an absolute joy to watch and learn from. Thank you!

you are awesome thank you

what a wonder, you work with such neatness (in its original meaning and the more modern meaning too) I would be so tempted to get in there with my fingers and mess everything up! Huge thanks for this , many useful tips and pointers. The trays are a delight.

You handle the clay so expertly. It is a very impressive technique and an excellent teaching video. Thanks so much for sharing your skills!

Your videos are so enjoyable and helpful with all the information you provide .I am very much a fan of how your videos have progressed in the several years I have been watching. Thank you again.

Would love to see them glazed please

Very nice Vaughan and thank you for this tutorial.
Hope you will show those platters when they are glazed.

Thank you for your wonderful teaching

thank you so much for your wonderful tutorial sharing your years of knowledge. Love the music too!

Thank you for sharing this!!  Just curious what the finished bottom looks like??

Where's the cat?  I was so sorry when you had to send that last kitty to her new home.  She was such a love bug.  As always Vaughn, you are very talented and I thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much for sharing your tutorial on platter making.  Although this was so much more than the making of a platter… I learned so many tips and tricks! Thank you again. 😊

Excellent teaching video and the music that goes with it!

Your hometown is beautiful

Would you recommend any particular slab roller? I want to get into this but struggle with rolling out and a slab roller would be ideal but they can be pricey.

Excellent tutorial, i loved the pacing, all the tips and the way you explain the process and give tips and tools along the way and not just show us. Helping us understand why you do what you do.  This was rich in tips and teaching and the editing was great too.

The music parts were really relaxing actually and i found myself by the end quite relaxed and it was soothing.  Not always the experience watching tutorials at all,  thank you. I'm really happy to have discovered your channel and look forward to trying this

The beginning when you talked about getting your slabs square was great advice.  Maybe you could make a shorter video on just that so we can find it again later when we're looking for just that.  I've watched lots of your videos before and couldn't remember which video I had seen this part on and had to go back and search through all the watched ones again just to find it.  Thanks for sharing your awesome advice, work, knowledge, and space with us.

The studio where I work recently got a new slab roller that only allows rolling one way. You can't roll back. I have been frustrated almost to tears being unable to roll a square slab. I can't wait to try your method!!! Your platters are beautiful. So graceful looking. Thank you so much for sharing this. You've given me hope!
