I can’t believe Dipper has never seen asdf movie. That’s right up her alley of random.

i'm always surprised at people not noticing the big three of youtube gaming, pewdiepie, markiplier, and jacksepticeye

"It's catbug!" YES!! YES IT FREAKIN IS!!

@djmagichat1721 1 year ago

FINALLY, SOMEONE WHO CAUGHT ON THAT THE MUFFIN IS CATBUG!

And somehow, of all the people I've seen react to this series, Dipper just kinda seemed like the one who'd immediately know. My day has been made brighter by this.

ASDF (1) was made 16 years ago and every single part after was made until the latest one past year and 2 months ago they made this collection of all of their animations, so you can notice how the animation improves and so does the voices
Pretty cool

The humor here is “Expectation Subversion”.

So in the anime opeing portion, you see that all the non-human characters are given human forms, you also see that the "Cow that pretends to be a man" is female despite sounding male in the skits, well thats because cows are female bovines, and so the human form cow is now just a Tomboy country girl. Its a really cool detail that I love. Especially because its my second favorite character after Do The Flop Guy.

0:13 to be fair, I'm pretty sure it's around 15 years old

"So most of you have already seen this..." - back when it was new, almost 20 years ago. I'd mostly forgotten about it though. Welcome to Millennial internet humor - there's plenty more if it survived the death of flash.

17:58 - 18:32 - 19:09 Markiplier
20:26 Jacksepticeye

Wait till Dipper realizes about all of the ASDF Songs‼️‼️‼️

To be honest, while getting folks like Markiplier and Jacksepticeye to do the odd voice here and there seems about right for YouTube, Movie 8 had me surprised when I saw Kylie Minogue on the cast list.

25:21 and this is how I learned that The man was in fact a tomboy cow.

I remember when asdfmovie4 came out, everyone in my middle school was doing the “I’m gonna do an Internet!”

ASDFMovie was basically Millennial brain rot. I would say this is what we had instead of Skibidi Toilet, but that's really not true. Because gmod brainrot and YTPs are something we did a watched a lot of, as well.
