People getting mad at others for saying the dad’s reaction was exaggerated but the people saying it wasn’t are completely correct. If you’re an adult and have a kid it’s their responsibility to look after their children, if SOMEONE ELSE’s kid is out with your kid doing who knows what (in this case just sneaking out buying snacks and crap) you know how much crap the parents would be in if someone else’s kid went missing, lots. This may be average teen behavior but it doesn’t make it right in any way, even if it was just to buy snacks and other stuff. They did this when their parents were SLEEPING. What if something happened? The parents could’ve been asleep and wouldn’t know where their child and her friend went. (If someone brings up the camera it can obv only stay in a certain diameter so it may have caught them walking but the dad never caught where to.) Also this is coming from another teen possibly younger actually but I just wanted to say this bc it’s unfair that the dad is being treated like the bad guy when his reaction was completely valid.
