History of The Wonder of Stardom Championship

So I figured now was the best time to redo this video. For the folks that have been following me from the beginning, you might remember that I had already done this video before. Unfortunately it was before the copyright strikes, and the original video was one of the videos that was taken down.

With the current events of the belt being vacated once again, I figured I would remake this video so all the new viewers can get a short history of the white belt.

A lot of the matches from before 2016 are either lost in the void or I am unable to get my hands on them, so as far as story relevance the white belt had, I kept it too a minimum.

we'll never see Io Shirai vs Arisa Hoshiki.
let that soak in.

Man, I never realized how many non-Japanese performers that were held down to jobber status in NXT were actually title contenders, and in Garrett's case a winner, in Stardom.

So Kairi pulled a Shinsuke and helped to pull the white belt up to a level equal, of not above the main championship.

If everything goes ok with the starting up of Stardom shows and hopefully there are no more interruptions pandemic or other wise. This would be one of my options as far as the vacant title.
If there is a 5 Star Gran Prix tournament have the finals be not only for the tournament win but the winner wins the vacant title.
The other option would be have a separate tournament and the finals will be at the Stardom end of the year Climax card. Or just have two people wrestle for the title at the end of the year Climax card.
Now I know that's a couple months away but I figure they are still grieving and will be for awhile so we can hold off.

Great video. One thing I'll disagree with though is that Momo's white belt run was not the greatest title reign in the company's history. Best white belt reign maybe but Io's second red belt run is the best of any title. 14 matches including 3 against Mayu, 2 against Kairi and one against Meiko. You had multiple matches that were better than Momo's best defense. It's not a knock against Momo as for her age and experience her reign is probably more impressive but that Io run is legendary.

Most of us are expecting Giulia to be the next champ but I hope they also consider Tam or Jungle.
Tam would be great to carry on Arisa's legacy while Jungle will fight for Hana. Would also give Jungle a boost as she'll need to take the reins of TCS.

Thanks for posting these Stardom videos. It's nice to hear someone discuss the promotion. A real shame that Arisa Hoshiki retired, she was my favourite!

Great video! So many great champions. I expect Giulia will be next. I hope that Starlight Kid wins it though. (no diss on Giulia she’s cool too)

Thanks for the history of the world of Stardom title.
Hmm Santana Garrett beating io Shirai for that title. Interesting Santana Garrett is fairly decent but no I wonder who made that decision.
