i feel like such an idiot for not noticing the fact that the poker scene was its own mini heist, that's so well done now looking back at it

I was actually very refreshed to watch the entire Ocean's trilogy without seeing any dramatic fake-out deaths or gun fights where we think the main character might be in danger. I thought for sure Danny would sacrifice himself to save Rusty or vice versa - but it didn't play any of those old tropes, it was just pure fun and clever plot twists throughout

I played the Security Guard that used his key card when the two Mormon Brothers "forgot" theirs into the vault area.

The idea that the take is spilt 11 ways equally gives a very wholesome vibe that everyone is on the same team and can be trusted. However unrealistic it works

That script is so tight, you could set your watch to it. Not an ounce of fat.

Tbh 13 was never meant to have the subtlety because it wasn’t about heisting for heisting sake

It was about righting a wrong for one of the crew and that’s what makes it soo good.

They don’t once pretend like it isn’t about Ruben, and even upfront tell Bank that they are coming for him

They are hiding NOTHING and just showing what they can do when they are pissed

While Ocean’s 11 is the perfect heist film
Ocean’s 13 is the perfect REVENGE film

this is my comfort movie, whenever i feel bad I just watch it while lying in bed. I just love it so much. I also love 13 as well.

Seriously one of my favourite films. This is a movie you can watch every year...and it does not get stale. The acting, the comedy, the zooms and shots by Soderbergh are incredibly cool looking. There's something about the music and the way that its shot, it almost feels a bit psychedelic at times. It creates a firm tone and you can't help but dive into the movie and forget everything around you. The movie flows really well also!

I have watched this so many times.  You right, the ending scene is ......... just perfect.  Although, I have no problem with Oceans 12.

You totally underrated the music. I feel this movie works more so because of the music. I haven't seen ANY other movie having such a wonderful soundtrack THROUGHOUT the movie. The music is absolutely important, as important as every other aspect and that's what makes it a perfect movie, because all the departments are working absolutely at their peak.

the oceans trilogy is absolute awesome! i love the three movies

8:40 "We're just supposed to walk out of there with $150 million dollars in cash on us, without being stopped?" I love how he says that obviously sarcastically, then it's exactly what happens.

Don't forget when Basher is using the EMP, he's nervous and then covers his junk out of fear it'll mess with lil' Basher.

I always feel like this movie has a paper thin fourth wall that could break at any moment but never actually does.

you know what’s weird, I watched Ocean’s 12 first and was so entertained. Imagine my delight when I found out there was an Ocean’s 11.. definitely one of my favourites

Can we Take a moment to admire this crazy cast... woah!

It's definately a perfect movie for me as well. You just have to love great heist films like this.
- Incredible cast.
- Amazing plot.
- Perfect editing (the moment cutting from Benedict to the swat team's bag and then to Rusty flipping his visor up blows me away every time).
- Great music that fits the vibe really well.
- Very atmospheric lighting and use of color. How the colored light from the set often falls on the faces of the actors is so visually stunning.
- But my favorite thing is the dialogue. I remember so many lines from this movie. It's just so well written.

Oceans Eleven and Inception are among my best appreciated movies. With O11 being the more relaxing and fun to watch, and Inception (if you count it as a heist movie) the more deeper and emotional counterpart. I will never grow tired of these movies.

That scene where everyone's faces turn to the destruction of the building but two -- still gives me chills 🥰

In watching 12 & 13 I realized how completely under-appreciated the score is. It absolutely slaps. David Holmes does the score though 11–13, but 12 and 13 aren't even particularly good. But that strange, catchy, slightly limping jive that vibrates through every scene of 11 is the blood pumping through each moment of well-scripted chemistry. Honestly, ask yourself if this would be the same movie without it. (I agree with everything else said, but I hadn't seen anyone mention the score, and that's straight sacrilege.)

Oh dude, this video explains perfectly why Ocean's 11 is my favorite movie of all time
