Hey! Original finder of the Null car glitch here! (airshxp, you might recognise my gamertag haha). You mentioned no one has been banned for driving the null car, and this is true due to the code not letting you keep the car as well as it just being practically a livery you downloaded from someone else. However, you CAN and WILL be banned to this day for uploading the livery to the design hub, as i did when i uploaded the original livery. I mean, i had it up for a while, but as soon as the big youtubers found out like ericship, ar12, monster etc they made vids on it and then forza caught on from there haha. Thankfully there’s still plenty of awesome people who keep the null car on the storefront so we can still keep enjoying it to this day :)

the opi edition has the 1400hp v6 swap

Fun Fact: The Null Car originally appeared in fh1. If you played online there was a car called the null car and DLC cars appeared as the null car for people who didn't own the dlc car.

Im honestly glad Playground games was strict to people whom got the Owen's edition, it's his car and should stay his car. They made sure he had something truly special and succeeded with flying colors.

hey, owner of one of the OPI Ford GTs here, it actually IS unique from the standard, though in 2 keys differences: you cannot increase the tire width, but in return, the Ford Mustang RTR block can be swapped into it, thus allowing it to reach X-Class. the standard Ford GT cannot get past S2.

Crazy how the Null car is a ford falcon haha

I tried the Null Car in FH4 recently. Bought it, upgraded it and logged off still inside of the car. I started the game back up and it loaded me into another car I had in the garage, but the Null Car was gone. I was able to get it to around 1300 HP and 265 top speed. Spent about $160k for everything. It wasn't a bad car to race around with on the highway for a little while though.

2:59 the regular ford gt is bottom s1 stock but the opi edit is s1 900 stock

3:13 The XR6 and XR8 engines were featured in different Falcon models. This bodywork can only be found on the FGX, the last of the Australian Ford Falcon range

The Null Car is also in Forza Horizon 5. I drove it after the update with the new Countach and BMW. The files for those cars were corrupted and was replaced with the null car. I fixed it by checking for corrupted files through the steam helper (or whatever)

as someone who loves the opi brand for nail polish, i genuinely lost my mind seeing they were collabing. glad to have gotten my hands on the opi edition even if i dont play w it much

To answer your question at 7:32: They didn't remove it because they don't care. Just remember that the brand logo for the DMC used to be the old Citroen logo way before they even added the Citroen DS, which uses a slightly newer version of the logo now, making the inclusion of the old one even weirder. Also the unused wrestling story 205 Turbo 16 is still listed in Horizon Promo alongside with two unused Volkswagen Beetles

Null car glitch goes way back in the Xbox 360 era, In Forza Motorsport 2/3/4 if you watch a downloaded online replay there will be a rare chance of a ghostly transparent Volkswagen R32 in the race, It can also appear if the player is driving a DLC car that you didn't downloaded.

The ford focus rs preorder edition is easy to get now since its in the backstage pass

I remember when I had the null car, it was just a split second. It was when I was playing the Lego expansion and I believe a barn find or a Lego car glitched in Forzavista. As soon as I left forzavista, it returned to the normal car.

another car i’d like to add to this is the austin taxi hs. this version of the taxi was only playable in the isha’s taxis horizon story, and features a bodykit with 500mm rear tires, on top of also receiving engine swaps no other car in the game has, like the 1750hp funco engine. like the owens, it is bannable to have it in your garage

Slapping a V10 in a ford fusion is crazy

I remember how I sniped the 911 PO from the auction house, that was a brilliant addiction to my collection, which was already including the Mclaren 720S PO car at the time. One of the best moments in my Forza life =)

If I remember correctly, the null car is a place holder vehicle that every car is based off of. It's the most basic vehicle to exist. FM4 had one that was a VW Bora

you can still get the forza edition amg one through the Forza aio tool but It is like the null car where you can’t bring it into races or events and can’t keep it in your garage
