An omptimized UE5 game???? IN THIS ECONOMY?!?!?!

That's an insane level of detail for a ~2gb download. It's refreshing to see an optimized game for once.

Dovetail needs some competition because they fu***d up with TSW

The Steam reviews say it all - 98% "overwhelmingly positive".
What a stunning achievement.

You might have noticed but if you're in the external camera facing the driver you can see him pointing at the signals

If one dude can do this what's dovetails excuse?

Cheaper than a TSW Route, so, nice support for the dev.

You have to wonder what Dovetail think of this. It shines a bigger light on the games they put out

Would you mind writing the simulators name in the description?

Technical masterpiece considering its a 1 person team and optimised 2.5GB. Need more competition in this gaming space!

The name of this game is called RUNNING TRAIN, I have no idea why the name of this game is absent from the title or description.

Not every game needs to be the same, I don't need clickable things etc. Whats important of this game is for a single person to be able to do this whilst Dovetail give us nonsense year on year should start destroying monopolies. Same goes for all games such as football and so on.

Hopefully people will start demanding more from these bigger devs

Not "might just be"; It IS the best-looking train sim you've ever played.

3 years of solo development + it's his own request = good quality software.

I don't care if there are passengers waiting at a station or in my train at all, I just want to drive a train realistically without stutters, scenery that is more than a treeline to hide the edges of the map and something that feels that you're driving a train, and so far this game is nailing it. A company being longer in business and having multiple employees still can't get the basics right, and I hope that Running Train will get more complex with maybe a full working signal system (if they haven't already), but apart from that, this and Simrail are miles ahead of TSW, yet TSW has the licensing.

Opening and closing the doors are the job of the conductor, and I guess that's what conductor mode is for

1:15 to be fair, I'm rock solid just watching it!

Dovetail getting humiliated by a single dev is pretty hilarious.

People actually believe one word this fool says, with all his paid and gifted stuff? Every single review he does is FANTASTIC, AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, MIND BLOWING. People need to wake up. There's a reason publishers hand pick specific YouTubers to do reviews.

I’m overjoyed that this game turned out to be such a gem. The visuals are stunning, it’s well-optimized and it’s fun to run. I spent hours just learning to perfect braking distances and it was a joy.

I’m glad we’re seeing so many new train simulators crop up these last few years. We’ve been stuck with thinly-veiled DLC platforms that happen to just have trains in them, for almost two decades. It’s about time we see some genuine movement in the genre. Huge kudos to the developer. He did a fantastic job.
