I really wish more channels would do a brightness test through a large soft box, or a more real world application. No-one is ever just blasting their subject with the reflector attached.from 1 meter away.  I get it to set a benchmark, but give us real world light output, like bounced off a reflector, or though a 120cm or so soft box. Simulating how it will actually be used on set. That information would be so much more useful. You could easy set up a standard interview setup and tell be what brighten level i can get with some standard camera settings. So you ould say something like

"At ISO 100, aiming for an aputure of f5.6, in a 120cm softbox 2 meters from the subject, you can achieve proper exposure at 27% brightness with this light."

That information is way more useful, than how much output I get at 1 meter with the included reflector.

Thanks for this review!  Curious if you know how long the header cable is and if there is any option for a longer header cable.

I had no problem using the fresnel with the 70c. But yes, be careful.

Thanks for checking the 1% dimmed brightness, most tests neglect to do this as it shows the full range of situations we can put this in as we do not always need 100% brightness.  Compared to the Amaran Halo 600x, which one dims to 1% better (the lowest lux)?

Tell me y’all got the fc-1200 coming. There is nothing out about it. The 720 series has me moving away from strobes.
