Fun fact: The setting for the movie was originally supposed to be a lot more futuristic, but they chose to make it more modern to make Syndrome's technology seem more impressive.

A common theory for how Universal man was killed by the first omnidroid is that he was incredibly depressed after supers were banned.  He just let it happen.

I promise that neither version of Homelander was not inspired by Gamma Jack. Gamma Jack was just a prick. Personally, I prefer the interpretation of him as an anti hero that flirted with but never crossed the line into evil. I especially love that one piece of fan art where his dying words are mocking Syndrome for being parasocial with Bob.

Don’t forget once Morty started listening to squirrels Rick decided to leave that entire timeline if not universe.

1:16:47 My theory is that Mr Incredible and Frozone WERE the close monitoring that Gamma Jack required. Who better than two other superheroes that were extremely loyal to the cause?

40:00 - "I wonder if her interview inspired Edna" no it's even better, the implication is that her DESPERATE need to find clothes as versitile as she is, is likely what CAUSED her to form not only a work relationship but FRIENDship with Edna. Edna clearly likes Bob and views him as a friend, but when Helen comes to Edna, Edna goes STRAIGHT to "Girls' night" mode. Preparing drinks and wanting to gossip.

funny that people are confused about the solar power thing but forget that Mr incredible's car was advanced enough to still be considered advanced during the sequel timeline despite its age

Now there's a slight theory, That I have about syndrome here if you pay attention to the color pictures of some of these heroes a certain hero with psychic mind manipulation powers, Was known to mind control certain people that she was dating. And while normally I think it would just be a coincidence that every single psychic we've had is also redhead her powers literally are taking over people's bodies so it's not too surprising let's just say syndrome might be the son of two heroes with a certain history.

I grew up with this double disc edition of the Incredibles, It provided many hours of entertainment with all the extra stuff that was in it, cartoons, spoofs, deleted scenes, I miss stuff like this

My thing with Supers being outlawed in the Incredibles verse is this. The villains are still a thing, they aren't gone, and new people are born every day, and in the Incredible verse it seems like powers are natural at birth and develop at some point early on in childhood. If Syndrome had done things right, he would've could've turned his inventions into civilian self defense gear against supervillains after Supers were made illegal. Furthermore, it was just straight up IDIOTIC for the government to make the ONE resource they had, Supers, illegal, to fight against people that chose to use their powers for villainy.

5:14 insert the once upon a time in Hollywood meme here

1:02:33 I'm thinking Syndrome used Mirage as bait/lure/trap, and the Omni droid took Gamma Jack out by surprise. His indestructiblity is very low... It wouldn't take much.

This might be an out of the blue suggestion, but if you'd like to see more child friendly franchises with dark 'secrets' I reccomend looking into the lore and story of Splatoon games. I think a lot of elements would be right up your alley.

Little known fact, for people with autism looking at someone while talking can actually mean your not really paying attention because your too focused looking at the person too hear what they are saying. So no. Not looking at someone doesn't always mean disinterest.

1:06:14 concerning this picture of Gamma Jack, there’s a theory going around that the white-haired looking girl cropped to the side is a younger Mirage.

It’s possible Mirage and Syndrome worked together this far back and she didn’t have a hard time to trick Jack into the island. 😅

He ate 47 pies, I can't fault him for going through a litre of mayo to wash it down

I like how little this guy knows about any topic but can like still sort of maybe a bit understand them it’s fun

19:50 In the incredibles, the NSA is the national supers agency.

2:01:45 universal man is Bruce Wayne if Batman became his 24/7 identity.

they could have made a whole series off of this lore
