You could add a rest stop on the stretch of highway, with a gas station and a restaurant.

In my opinion, it would also be cool to build a small, run-down neighborhood—one of those located near an industrial area, with abandoned buildings, poor maintenance, and few amenities.

(Nobody tell him that the traffic at that intersection was because there was no way for people to turn right at the old interchange from the docks, so they all came down there to do a u-turn, and when he fixed that nobody needed to do the u-turn, and traffic disappeared)

traffic fix episode, but before the traffic shows up! Personally I'm very happy

As someone that grew up in Boston, I was perpetually confused by the traffic movements you laid out, so I'd say you nailed it

25:17 this whole section should be titled: the american urge not to build a roundabout

Still absolutely love this series.

Funny anecdote: your insistence on Stratford being a Canadian Maritime city made me realise how similar east coast Canadian cities are to New England which sent me down a research rabbit hole that introduced me to Quebec City (which I knew was a colonial city but not so well preserved). Being tired of my own old colonial city (Boston) I booked a long weekend up there next month!

In short: this series has had a nonzero effect on Canadian tourism.

32:40  you had so many options, BUT YOU CHOSE BOSTON!😭

@16:54 In my opnion, they are not trying to get into downtown, they are trying to make a U-Turn :)

6:16 How dare you! That farm was in their family for generations!

Around @21:00 I think the reason the traffic cleared up was because of your new interchange. Most of the cars in the queue was only turning back out on the highway 😊

Damn first time I actually got a timely notification for an upload on YouTube.

I like that last urban intersection but I don't think it would be built irl. Those lanes entering from inside the roundabout are quite dangerous, it has a lot of conflict points. But I do really like it lol

I would argue that Network tools is a must have at this point for tasks such as this. Either way, great job man!

My municipality meanwhile: and this massive problem.right down the road we will expertly ignore for the forseeable future

24:15 I'm like "oh finally he's adding more lanes to the exit." Now just add a whole lot of road construction and Stratford is now in Florida where there's always highway construction. 😂

I recommend using the Network Tool mod when doing roads. It will help with the slopes and road nodes

Just a tip, for sloping roads that you have already built, you should get the network tools mod!

Hello Timeister. For the border crossing I realized that the cars slowed down in the begginning and kept on moving full speed past the railings and stuff.  In my opinion you should make them stay at a slow speed for the whole crossing please.  Well its your city.  And you have the final verdict.  I do not want to annoy you with anything.

30:50 that one little pole going through the road 😭
