Not too many people notice this, but the first robot Mr. Incredible fights was supposed to be for Frozone. It was programmed to take him to the volcano to kill him, since heat weakens his powers. Mirage notes that they were gonna get Frozone, but after seeing Mr. Incredible, they switched plans.

To think ppl defend Syndrome for his actions is just sad. All Bob said was, "no" and he decides to commit mass murder against the superhero population? Lol. Maybe his crazy ass should have tried therapy.

This is like a perfect movie to me. The music, the jokes, the drama, the designs. Pixar was in their bag with this one. Thank y’all for this reaction

Took me 21 years to realize that the new Incredibles symbol Edna designs for the new suits is a combination of both Bob and Ellen's symbols from their old costumes.

The funny thing is, Violet didn't even think about using the forcefield. She just jumped in front of Dash so he wouldn't get shot.
Aww, wish we got to see your book!

Vi being unable to do a force field in the heat of the moment was actually a pretty great lesson for parents around capping your children. They had been told for years to hide who they were and keep their powers a secret. Dash constantly broke the rules so he was more confident in his abilities but as the oldest, Vi was more obedient and understanding of the risks of getting caught so she didn't practice as often/was not encouraged to. It was frustrating in the moment but I'm glad her mom owned up to how unfair it was to have certain expectations of them their entire lives and then change the rules on a dime. Mr. Incredible was on one end of the spectrum, Elastigirl was on the other and their kids ultimately suffered in different ways as a result of it.

Edna Mode being voiced by the director is my favorite trivia tidbit about this movie. Brad bird was doing an impression for the casting people of what he wanted Edna to sound like and they said “Why dont you do it?”

"YOU'RE NOT AFFILIATED WITH ME!!" Lmao gets me everytime

I mean I like how it showed that violet couldn’t put a force field over the plane because she never had to used her powers to that degree before.

"When everyone's super, no one will be." That line stuck with me.

“Y’all see that girls head disappear?”🤣

You should definitely watch Jack-Jack Attack to see what the phone calls from the babysitter were about...😂

I love this movie so much because it's probably one of the only movies that you can watch as a kid and as an adult and get two completely different experiences.

Every thread in this film is tied up so nearly. Even the little kid who wanted to see something amazing gets closure.

22:47 She was a teen Hero too 😭

15:14 technically Violet can’t turn her whole body invisible with regular clothes on.

My fan theory is Mr. Incredible was a firefighter as his first normal job. A situation became too much for bob parr to handle and he couldn't watch people die so he used his powers. Thats how he blew his cover in the past

Edna Mode is based on real-life GOAT Hollywood costume designer Edith Head, who was nominated for 35 Oscars and won EIGHT, an all-time record.

This was the first Pixar movie to have a completely human cast.

My daughter was obsessed with this movie when she was little,  I cannot COUNT  how many times I watched this😂😂😂,  but it never,  ever gets old!!!❤❤❤
