A couple years ago we completed the whole Bourbon Trail book in 8 days. Totally doable, just need planning. One of my top 3 vacations.

Our crew has made it an annual trip, we've hit up 23 distillers so far!

This is one of the best Bourbon Trail videos on YouTube great job.

2 keys to the bourbon trail - plan well and have a dd.

OUTSTANDING work.  great tips!     A few points to reiterate:   #1 decide in advance which distilleries you want to tour...MAKE RESERVATIONS.    #2 Louisville distilleries are nicely close together but many feel more like storefront tastings.  If you want a more larger scale experience/tour, i suggest Rabbit Hole or Angels Envy.  #3 A great advantage to staying in Louisville is there's a LOT to try and most are within walking distance....no driving necessary.   Finally,  my experience is limited, but i would say i was VERY impressed with the campus, tours, and options at Buffalo Trace.   Plus the tours/tastings are surprisingly free!

Big fan of wheated bourbons.  Pappy is wheated.

Waiting in a line like that for blantons is WILD

Excellent narration good job. Good choices for tours too. I tour guide bourbon tours,  based in Louisville but doing all 3 towns, so choosing which and when is really key, as is getting lucky enough to get a tour at Buffalo Trace.  85% or so of my tours there , they have to settle for me giving the tour.

A Big thanks from Germany

If you're not on the website at 10 am Eastern time on a Wednesday when they release the next week of tours, you're not getting a Buffalo Trace tour reservation.   I had to pay for the other distillery tours, but never had a problem getting a tour on the day I wanted, and planned 3 months ahead.

There is a store pick from Bardstown that I tried called bourbon candy , one of the best bottles I have ever tried.

I think Hyde needs a raise. The audio, editing and filming are definitely upping the ITL game. I

Four Roses original recipe, excellent customer service!!!!!!!!!!

Great video! Pappy 15 is a special experience.  Really enjoy michters 10 year bourbon & rye.  Eh Taylor barrel proof is a favorite neat or in an old fashioned.  Also who doesn’t like some regular buffalo trace & knob creek 12 year.  Stagg jr is a favorite also

This is a great resource! Appreciate the video.

👍👍

Fun Fun!  We did some of the trail just as the pandemic was fading but froze in late winter also.  Some closed, so will have to go back when its warm!  Yeah, you can't do it all but will enjoy most places.  Thanks for sharing and taking us along! Cheers!

I've been to Kentucky many times and stopped at all the distilleries. You hit some great spots (there are tons of others). Wheated bourbons are my favorite as well. You should do what you can to get Weller Antique 107 (Red Bottle). That is an outstanding bourbon that is quite a bit better than Weller Special Reserve. Great Video!!

thank you for this video. This was very fun and helpful since I am planning my own trip in the winter

Great stuff!Just back from the Trail and perfect autumn weather. Went to all of these and then some. Recommend Michter's downtown. Get a tour guide. Mint Julep Tours is great!
