Terry,  my gear cogs are slightly offline with the christmas tree cogs, there is a washer/shim  on the christmas tree end to the casing bearing but it is pushing the tree cogs too far out and slightly off the main gears.  How do i sort this please as i cannot use a thinner washer as the tree will then grind the back casing!?  Many thanks

Having served an engineering apprenticeship and built so many engines and gearboxes for cars, motorcycles and trucks this video is so wrong in general workshop cleanliness, touching, putting stuff down on a dirty bench and using greases and not oil from grease to oil compatibility perspective. I wouldn’t be happy with this rebuild in my workshop.
