Luiton LT-310SDR Mini SSB CB Radio Review

m0ogy ( The Home Of CB Radio In England)

Welcome to the M0OGY Radio and Antenna Review channel.

NOTE I said the wrong dimensions, I normally check it with a rule, the paperwork reads wrong. The size of the radio is 128mm x 101mm x 25mm

Finally a version of this small radio has become available outside of Brazil.
The Luiton LT-310SDR is manufactured by Bond Telecom and it shares the same DNA as the Aquario RP-70 I gave an in depth review of in late 2025.
It has also recently become apparent there is a Radtel RT-20 coming out also.
Just who else may badge engineer it in Europe?.

PLEASE NOTE : This radio is technically not type approved for Citizens' Band Radio use, but you do so at your own risk.

Please keep an eye open to further "On-Air" tests.

Please feel free to comment below.

Best 73,
Dave M0OGY/26AT025,

I couldn’t believe the size of this thing when i opened the box, it’s almost identical in looks and size to the Albrecht AE6110 but with SSB.
I can see this being popular.

Thanks Dave I’m very interested in the Luiton that I’ve ordered one, like you said for that price and the size of it is perfect for carrying in my rucksack with a battery, and a couple of antennas. 73s 🇬🇧👍

Perfect size for a bicycle or motorbike too. This was what I dreamed of with my Harvard Harrier and Rack mounted DV27 back in 1981... boy oh boy were those motorbike batteries heavy to cycle around with.
Thank you for such a detailed reveiw.

Nice, the perfect answer to Albrecht AE 5900 and the lack of availability of ae 2990

Does anyone know what are the import costs for this radio to the European Union if I buy it from the Luiton website?

Where to buy in EU pls?

It wouldn't take much to make it even thinner, but then you would have issues with the display being too small. I bet they bring out a version that's not got a display and has everything on the microphone.

Think you got the dimensions a bit wrong? According to interweb 128mm x 101mm x 25mm , not 210mm x 190mm x50mm ?

12m band. You didn’t show us this.
Otherwise good video thanks.

Bought one. Does what it says on the tin. Skips a few channels on the band's so not continuous tuning in HF mode. Haven't tried tuning with the 1khz step though. Jumps the odd 10khz one though. Bit annoying, but I'll get over it.
