BBC Radio's "Party" (also informally known as "The Party") is a sitcom about a group of young, idealistic, and often naive individuals who attempt to form their own political party in Britain. Fresh out of university and eager to change the world, they struggle with the realities of politics, from choosing a party name to formulating policies. Their meetings, often held in improvised locations like a garden shed, are frequently derailed by conflict and result in outlandish, impractical, or offensive policy suggestions. The series satirizes the ambitions, hypocrisy, and naivety of those who aspire to political change.
It originally aired on BBC Radio 4 from 2010 to 2018.
