Cozumel Mexico features three main cruise terminals on its western coast: Punta Langosta (in downtown San Miguel), the International Cruise Terminal, and Puerta Maya (Carnival's hub). Taxis offer fixed rates to downtown ($5–$12). U.S. dollars and credit cards are widely accepted across the island.

The bees sanctuary, the chocolate making place - and the Lucha Libre excursion are the most fun if you don't want to dive. There is also a Mayan Ruins excursion. We rarely stay in the port area

We signed up very last minute on an inexpensive excursion at Cozumel that went to a Melipona Bees sanctuary. They are small, stingless bees that make very expensive honey believed to have healing qualities. That same tour went to a chocolate place. We truly enjoyed it especially the bees.

Did the helmet dive excursion over at the other cruise port on Cozumel. Enjoyed the local experience, food, coffee and took a taxi over to Sam’s Club. Got some great coffee at Sam’s and just really enjoyed the day.

We loved going to Mr. Sanchos Inclusive Beach Club excursion. Great coconut shrimp, fish and a taco buffet, fun beach and Denise and the girls loved the fish pedicure. Highly recommend. We have good friends that went there today.

I haven't done it yet, but an excursion I'm very interested in is the Reef Explorer Semi Sub. (4.5 on Trip Advisor.) It's a boat with an underwater viewing area. It reminds me of the submarine ride at Disneyland. Seems like it would be better than a glass bottom boat as you're looking out like an aquarium as opposed to down at whatever you're on top of.

I’ve spent a week there and one of my favorite things to do was doing bar hop. You can look them up and you go to four bars all over the island. Very good time
