Okay pinning this comment for context because some folks don’t know what the hell is going on and that’s fine.
Brennan Lee Mulligan is a comedian, writer, game master and performer with Dropout/ CollegeHumor. Formerly a YouTube channel, CollegeHumor, some years ago, started their own video hosting/ streaming service called Dropout, where you can see a whole lot of very funny shows full of awesome funny people like Brennan without ads, censoring or studio mandate. Brennan himself is a member there, has been for a number of years, having starred in and written many of their classic scripted sketches (something Dropout no longer produces), and being a contestant on several of Dropout’s other shows including No Laugh Newsroom, Game Changer and others.
He is also the co-creator of and runs (or is involved with) most seasons of Dimension20, Dropout’s Dungeons and Dragons show. It’s like a live writer’s room with dice.
Because he’s such a popular and successful GM and performer in general within the space, Brennan has also guested as a game master or player for several other TTRPG communities, perhaps most notably Critical Role, which is probably the most popular and prestigious TTRPG show online. On Critical Role’s Exandria Unlimited Calamity, Brennan was given the opportunity to run a short side-campaign in Critical Role’s own original fantasy world, a world called Exandria which has been built throughout their various campaigns. In the Calamity mini-arc, Brennan and the players told the story of an apocalypse-adjacent event in the ancient history of Critical Role’s worlds lore.
This video is a compilation of moments from all the shows and things Brennan’s been involved in that I like. A curated shortcut just for me to the bits I like cause they make me do the hahas. Ordinarily I personally produce longform video essay content on my main channel Micah Edmonds, I also produce my own music and have been editing video and audio for ages. Sometimes I relax by editing something short and dumb, and this second channel is where I put that stuff, (like easy compilations or memes I can make in like two hours) just for my own personal enjoyment. It’s accidentally become a site for dropout-exclusive stuff since that’s a lot of the comedy I watch. I didn’t mean for any of the videos here to blow up at all (you can tell by the aura of absolute minimum effort) but YouTube is broken, and compilations of (not even strictly speaking) pirated content from an exclusive site manages to perform extremely well with said minimal effort despite no SEO gaming on my part, no promotion and no real care for anything that apparently helps a video do well. God help us all.
I didn’t include sources initially because the fact that anyone but me has even seen this channel to begin with is an insane thing that this website decided to make happen, but now y’all are making me do homework, so there’s a list of links to the full videos where these clips are from now in the video description - in cases where possible, I’ve included the YouTube links to the official uploads, but mostly I ripped these of Dropout itself, which is a paid streaming service. It’s absolutely worth the fee they charge if you like their stuff. If you’ve the ability and enjoy these dumb compilations, I fully encourage you to dive head first into the wealth of awesome stuff you can find on Dropout.
I'm not about to make a part 3 I have my own stuff to get back to. Enjoy and adios.
