We beat the disciplinary interview... so naturally God cheated.

In the final episode of Sintopia's Story Mode, we begin with a victory. Aidhum has finally come to his senses, balancing brains and brawns as he picks his weapons back up and rejoins the fight.

Unfortunately, Hell immediately reminds us that peace was never an option.

The episode begins with Pride Deviants leading a rebellion, which quickly turns into a Wrath problem, which quickly turns into me zapping somewhere around 25-30 Humus within the first few minutes of gameplay. Just another normal workday at Hell Inc.

While trying to recover from that chaos, I panic-build a massive expansion to my soul-processing system. It looked amazing. It felt amazing. It was also only during editing that I realized half of the Omnisin Doctors were facing the wrong direction and weren't actually working.

We're not going to talk about that.

As the second Atonement Pillar activates, my theory about the Chairman's plan starts to come together. First we fought Zhumbies. Next came the Guaca Atonement Crisis, unleashing multiple simultaneous raids from all directions. What looked like a small attack quickly turned into several separate raid groups descending on the village at once.

Thankfully, between Aidhum, Healing Rain, and a small mountain of Faithcoins, we somehow survived.

Then Lu Morningstar joins the battle.

Sword? Check.

Purple wings? Check.

Looking suspiciously like a Pride Demon? Check.

At this point I was feeling pretty confident about whatever came next.

That was a mistake.

The third Atonement Crisis triggers much faster than expected and suddenly our entire population begins answering The Call of the Void, attempting to walk off the map and erase themselves from existence. Somehow we manage to keep most of our Humus alive and complete all three trials.

Technically speaking...

We win.

The Chairman disagrees.

Instead of accepting the result, he unleashes an enormous horde of demons in one final attempt to destroy everything. What follows is pure chaos as Faithcoins disappear, spells fly everywhere, soldiers fall, and survival hangs by a thread.

Against all odds, we hold the line.

The demons fall.

The Chairman loses.

And apparently decides the best solution is to take a vacation.

Everything seems perfect. The disciplinary interview is over. The celebrations begin. Everyone is partying.

Then the Void returns.

And suddenly...

Everything goes black.

Pride rebellions.
Excessive zapping.
Guaca invasions.
Muscle Man is back.
Lu joins the fight.
The Chairman cheats.
The Void has the last laugh.

The end of Sintopia.

...or maybe the beginning of something much worse.
