Just hit my first 300 subscribers! I've been watching a lot of different videos on how to grow on youtube and I feel overwhelmed with all of the information. This video was motivational and making me feel hopeful!

I'm literally so pumped to even hit 100 subscribers (currently at 44!). I KNOW it will happen for me THIS YEAR, and for anyone else who wants it, too! We got this!

Alright people! Im back with some surprising results and a story that I wanted to share with whoever is on board with the challenge, as motivation I hope (even though its for a spanish gaming channel and may not resonate)

A bit of context for clarity: I did YouTube some years ago but stopped to edit for other youtubers and stuff. The thing is, I returned around 4 months ago, with a different type of content, style and everything. And let me tell you, reviving a dead channel is a bit more tricky than starting a new one, as your current "dead" audience could bring down your new approach to the channel.

I took the first 3 months to experiment with the editing and thumbnail style, looking for ways to make it sustainable against burnout, kind of like a warm-up. I was trying to implement Aprilynne's advices from other videos slowly, trying not to get overwhelmed with it. I was paying more attention to hooks, viewer experience, thumbnail style, organizing schedule, providing value and some authenticity, having some fun learning and experimenting...
But I was craving more... I wanted a banger. So I took some time to prepare a big comeback, my best video ever, in which I invested money for a thumbnail artist, an animator and an illustration. I even used copyrighted music so it will never be monetized. But I didnt care, I just wanted to create something special and prove to myself what I was capable of. The thing is... A single video is not really an epic comeback, so in those 2 months of preparation the plan was to upload the banger, followed by 3 weeks of already programmed daily shorts and tiktoks, plus another longform video the week after the banger. Basically to show that I was serious, with an entire content wall strategy.

The banger video went abysmal in performance. It was not like a surprise or anything, I did consider that the approach of the intro could affect negatively when it comes to YouTube exposure, but it still hurts the ego not seeing that green performance arrow on the Studio. It changed the life of Everyone who watched it, though! So recieving those heartwarming comments was really nice!
What I couldn't foresee at all was that the video After the banger could blow up the way it did: its on its way to become my most watched video in only 5 days AND to tank a huge chunk of the 3000h watchtime requirement for monetization. Additionally, the success of this video seems to be contagious, as now more people are marathoning the entire channel, exposing the banger video to more people and creating a snowball on its own.

What do we do from here? Im taking some days to properly study the success and see if I can replicate it with different ideas and what to do with the next 3 videos, to build a better channel momentum using this opportunity for a better viewer experience.

What can we learn from this?
- Don't underestimate what you can achieve in just some months of taking things more seriously.
- The youtube game is not linear. Not at all. Really.
- If I could do it, you (the beautiful person reading this) can do it too
- Aprilynne's strategy worked for me, even though I kind of started it on my own before this video was even released hahah

Did I recently become a father? Yes. Will I still attempt this challenge? YES!

I'm committing to a 90 day YouTube plan to change my life

After 9 years of dreaming about starting a YouTube channel, I finally did it in April. ❤️ I started from zero without telling anyone. Now my commitment is to keep going, keep learning, and NEVER give up. This is only the beginning, but this time I’m not letting my dream go. ❤

This is solid. The hardest part isn’t usually the content, it’s finding the time and energy to stay consistent long enough to see results. When you can clear away the stuff that eats up your day, it’s crazy how much easier it gets to actually follow through on challenges like this.

I’ve been making videos since 2017, but never been consistent. This is my commitment: to be consistent and intentional for the rest of the year with my uploading. No matter what. My goal at the top of the year was 10K subscribers, but since I haven’t been consistent, moving it to 5K. Let’s do this.

Everyday i watch videos like this, for some reason i just second guess myself with becoming a creator because i think off the back im just supposed to go viral off one video 😢

Sometimes you just need to ALTER the formula to see success!
