The orichalcum PERFECTLY saving you after you thinking it was un needed was perfect.

Imagine going into a battle and seeing this guy.

30 layers of armour, a bird walking next to him, he walks into the arena juggling and yet he still has a trail of bodies forming a bloodstained road behind him

RT in the first game: "And I shank 'em and I shank 'em and I shank 'em..."

RT in the second game: "And I stomp 'em and I stomp 'em and I stomp 'em..."

So, we went from "innate afterimage never ending block" to "ATTACKATTACKATTACKATTACKATTACKATTACKATTACKATTACKATTACKATTACK"
Some would say it was meant to happen, and I agree.

Orichalcum being some "oh, we already have block though :/" to "literally saves his life" to "this is the most worthless item"... Damn the character arc... a hero and shelved in one...

@michaelappleby3622 6 months ago

This is so insane it feels like it has to be scripted. Pulling the orichalcum thinking it’s never going to do anything cause he always gets block from his other stuff into it literally immediately saving him and his run is absurd. You lucky son of a

New Dan quote to take entirely out of context: "I should actually pillage first before I, uh, fuck."

@MatteBlack333 6 months ago (edited)

Leave it to RT to immediately break the game with cards everyone was actively avoiding, stomp, juggling, and conflagration together made my jaw drop at how clever it was. Literally saw nobody even touch juggling.

Honestly, Dan played this really well. If you didn't know, all players get the same first seed, and not many people actually beat it. I watched a professional Slay the Spire player lose on this seed. Well done!
