This Interview impacted me beyond "wanting to print", which I of course now want to do. I find myself often focusing so much on the trends that wash over the photography Instagram realm. Distractions like IQ, gear, being paid for your work, and 'finding my style' -- (which on YT/IG just means 'finding something that makes you viral') -- often take and bitter my perception of what photography is and what being a part of this community is about. This video reminded me about the photography PROCESS and how -- as a lover of photography -- I should be IN LOVE with it, not just in the search for improvement in it. Seeing this video reminds me to fall back in love with the process, to immerse myself into the unknowns, and to find my voice -- my art. I hope to find more people like y'all in my circle, these are the inspirations that I want my photography to be impacted by.

Cheers!

Hello neighbor! I have been converting more of my printing to platinum palladium. It is a good choice for printing. Has quite a unique look. It fits well with my expirmental photographic art that I take on large format. I much prefer it over traditional darkroom printing, which I do far less of. I think carbon transfer looks the best but I have yet to dive into that type of printing. What is interesting about this video is that you used a Canon, I find very few peopple that use these printers, outside of myslef, for printing the negatives.

bogos binted ❤

Ever since I saw Tyler Shields printing with platinum I’ve always wanted to try it

What’s the print time and how do you like the exposure unit? Do you care to share what exposure unit you are using?
