The Sixth Borough🗽🎆🎇
Jersey City/Hudson County✨️

Small city, with a big city feel

A decade ago, all of these high-rises did not exist. I still remember those days as a kid.

Good job Manny - my old hood from 1983, still remember walking to the Hudson and looking across at the twin towers then

I miss living out there. 😢

I live not far away in Mcginley square, and I really love all the changes in the neighborhood. Such an amazing place.

I used to woyk right at 1 Jersey Plaza , say 20th flooor,  - I looked out at the marina across in Manhattan, with lots of yachts docked. One of my views in my apartment was the statue  of liberty … man it was cheep to live .

Man I remember we bumped into you here lol.. JSQ looks so modern now and it's starting to look a lot like NYC with all the skyscrapers..

Great video. U just passed my block!

Glad little India still looks intact! Your presentation covered it all!! Amazing progress!! I’ve not been in JC for 6 yrs. Already looks like a surveillance city with the robots and two way glass. Awesome commentary too. Love you covered old, landmarks as well as new architecture. I miss it❤

❤❤

Manny love your videos! The construction site you passed in the beginning of your video is going to be 2 27 story buildings.

Journal Square was once the heart of Jersey City and it will be once again. It is a transportation hub and people are discovering how close it is to Manhattan, 15 mins to World Trade Center, 25 mins to 33rd st/midtown 15 mins to Newark to take amtrak/njtransit, major cities across the USA to newark liberty international airport.
I read once that the occupancy rate here is 96%. There is demand and why banks are lending money to the developers, more skyscrapers, this momentum is unstoppable.

Nice video!

i've only been gone for almost 6 years now, holy cow that's alot of new and tall buildings

WOW! This is shocking. I haven't been home in 25 years. I had no idea they developed JSQ like this. I expect all of the high rises in Exchange Place. It's carzy to see the two story homes sanwiched between these bohemoths. I hope the city keeps up with supplying low income housing too. People should not have to relocate because developers finally discovered our jewel of a city. It looks like you filmed near my old home on Van Reipen! Crazy!

What’s up Manny, haven’t seen you in a while.

I live here in JC, when you travel back east, gotta visit  Sri Lanka! it’s the caribbean of india

What’s the name of the two buildings that look like It reminds me of the twin tower Jersey the unofficial 6 brow

Thought about becoming a Roman Catholic Priest.
