I done 4.5 months in there on remand at 27 years old , Had a baby on the way Mrs was 3 months pregnant at the time.
The moment I first went through them gates on the prison bus to HMP Liverpool or Walton as scousers call it , I new my worst nightmare was about to unfold but I told myself it’s time to be mentally strong now , I could go on for hours and hours about things I seen in there it’s one fucked up place , To give you context a 60 year old man jumped from the 5s landing onto the steel meshing on the 3s landing , 18 foot below with only a bible in his hands head first. He broke vertebrae’s in his neck but not actually his spine , I seen him few weeks later to give him his bible back that I fished off the steel netting he had been away in hospital getting sorted. I said why did you do it why did you try and commit suicide had you just been sentenced…….he said no I’m getting out next week….
he said I had some bad news about my brother. He was sporting a full neck brace on the wing.
Watched lads getting boiling kettles thrown over them over fish 🐟 spice paper.
Lads getting slashed across the faces for trouble outside.
Most violent place I’ve ever seen.
Ruthless.
It’s a mad house trans prisoners.
Drug addicts, gang members, The two trans cons on my wing were raging drug addict heroin addicts, it’s cockroach infested all the cells on the ones landing had been condemned by health and safety because floors where covered with cockroach’s with it being a Victorian prison, The cockroach’s come out of the walls down there. It’s putrid place don’t commit a crime of any sort on Merseyside because if you end up in there you’ll regret it like I did.

Our house got screwed 4 times and they used to shit in one of the rooms and then Thatcher brought skag in which turned fighting back fit young men into ghosts who fought each other instead of the state all bets were off and were stuck with the consequences to this hour.
