"How Gravity Bends Space, Time and Reality" seems like a misleading title. It is generally believed that matter bends space and time, and what we call gravity is manifested by the curved geodesics within this bent space-time. So gravity is a consequence of bent space-time, not a cause of it.

I wish i was the apple falling at the end!!!😂😂with no consciousness and problems. And also able to swim.

Gravity increases in the evening, especially if you have been drinking.

It's an amazing experience to hear you jim khalili sir.. Mesmerizing as usual..

It still messes with my head that gravity isn’t really a “force” pulling things down, but space and time themselves being curved. Somehow that explanation makes gravity even weirder.

Back in 2001 I started a 7 year period of simply contemplating gravity, without maths. My physics professor had a way of teaching us Socratically to 'enter nature'  through contemplation instead of using math. An insight occurred one evening in an instant. An insight into the nature of time lead to a view that gravity was caused by a certain behavior of time much like the one spoken about in this video. I called my professor with this eureka moment to discuss what I had seen.
This was the first time in 30 years that he we spoke without him Socratically asking questions. And, instead of speaking solely in physics he spoke of a theologian in the Eastern Orthodox Church from the 7th Century. This theologian too had a view of time to describe the world we live in along with a type of time that is common to the angels. Finally, he opined a third type of time common only the Trinity.
It's nice to see other physicists have finally come to this same or similar conclusion.

So, does this mean that time stops at the event horizon of a black hole where the escape velocity velocity would be impossible to obtain?

Awesome video I usually start long videos, but i skip if its boring, but you kept me till the last second, since my school days I have been trying to understand what is gravity, I am 47 years old now and I still dont know, but after watching this video I got to know another thing,  that people near the equator are spinning at 1600 Kmph and in North of UK at 1000 Kmph, that was new to me, just wanted to know what is the difference of those people.
