Hi all. Producer + Director here. I thank all those who have been supporting this project along with those who have have left positive comments. I thank you all wholeheartedly.

Below, you’ll find my statement about this film. Spoiler warning for those who have not watched yet.

Mary is not a traditional horror film in the sense that it’s not a gory blood fest… it’s not a possession movie… there are no cheap jump scares and people with weird, smiling faces… there are no demonic monsters or spirits… this is not dumbed down, conventional horror. This is a slow burn horror-thriller focused on tension, atmosphere, and story. The horror in Mary deals with the horrors of adultery. This is what is being explored. You’re along for the ride throughout the runtime thinking it’s going to be a conventional slasher, only to realize at the end what is actually going on and what is actually being said.

A modern take on the horrors of online dating and all the horrors that come with it.

I once again thank all those who have understood what we were going for and for those who appreciated the unexpected revelation at the end.

Feel free to ask me anything! Cheers.

The slow motion fight was cool

I saw the ending coming, but it was still well done. My only gripe is that the date didn't completely close the back door. As soon as that happened, I knew the outcome

9:11 if I was him I would’ve been pissed off like, now why the hell you bring him here with you 😭😭

A true gem 💎 this short kept me intrigued from start to finish. Huge props to the actors, crew but most importantly to the director 🎥 I love the storyline and your vision. Keep it up 👏👏

this story makes no sense. She hates him but kills him because he wants to leave her. She hates being a mother and never wanted a family but also doesnt want him to take custody full time?

Great short film! Wow

A sorely needed film

I love this so much, the acting, the suspense. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK 🥰🥰

I liked it, I did not expect the ending

GREAT  FILM  GREAT  ACTING   BY  ALL   ❤❤❤❤❤

Yea the scene at the back door when the husband attacked, scared the h*** out of me!!! 😂 10/10

Great film, thanks. Nowadays, it's like you need to know about your partners exes. Even run a background check, lol. It's amazing how many true crime murders involve an ex

Brownie points for putting the texts on big screen. I hate it when I have to pause a story to be able to read the texts. The fight scene photography was great. Good story too.

Oh wow. This was epic. Great work guys. 👏 🔪 ❤

WAY  TO  GO  ALEX GREAT  FILM   GREAT ACTING  BY ALL ❤❤❤

The twist was not a surprise!

I love this because it was a short film with a conclusion. Most of the shorts I watch never have a real ending. Just leave you on a cliff hanger. Great job!

Well done! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
I had two stalkers from online dating. I'll never do it again. Nope. Be safe out there everyone.

Very warm horror movie, it should have been an hour and a half long, I ran into situations like this with a lady myself 😞
