Guro Dan Inosanto gives an awe inspiring demonstration of Jeet Kune Do's trapping. Bruce Lee's first Martial Art was Wing Chun and it's influence is abundant in this video.

Dan Inosanto is 79 in this video... He looks like he is in his late 50's!

what an incredibly humble grandmaster. Instead of him doing the techniques, he gives his students the opportunity to shine while he explains the technique. He knows he's the grandmaster and has no desire for the limelight and feels comfortable letting his students demonstrate the techniques and letting them shine.

It's so weird to see all BL's famous friends are still alive and healthy, but he died so young.

Guru Dan Inosanto is arguably the most cross-trained Martial Artist of all time with Dan rankings or the equivalents in Chinese, Japanese, Filipino martial arts and has added BJJ to his knowledge. An honest GrandMaster if there ever was one

The whole point of Bruce Lee creating Jkd is to help the individual discover and express themselves. Especially as martial artist!

Had the pleasure to meet Grand master Inosanto at his marina del Rey academy some 5-6 years ago and took some pics with him.

I called Dan Inosanto's residence in Carson many years ago and talked to his wife. I inquired about instruction but she informed me there were no openings. At the time he was teaching in his garage about 6 or 7 students at the time. Loved Bruce Lee and would have love Mr. Inosanto teaching me Jeet Kune Do.

When making movies, I heard that Bruce Lee was so fast that they had to slow down the film speed so you could actually see a kick to the head etc.

It's refreshing to hear Guro Dan express that if a person really wants to understand Jeet Kune Do, they need to understand trapping and certain aspects of the Wing Chun system. As Sijo Bruce Lee's only fully certified JKD instructor under him when he was still alive, his words have much weight and value. Thank you for the video.
