Great video, thanks for the content. While I'm not chasing quarter-moa, the likes of you & Erik have definitely helped me up my game where I am very consistently in the half to three-quarter range, which is plenty good for me.
Excellent! I hear so much garbage that I find it refreshing to hear someone who is well spoken. Thanks for your knowledge/explanations. However, as a precision hand loader I feel overwhelmed at the variables present in my operation. I’m so far behind that I am still focusing on neck tension, brass prep, seating depth and even powder/charge combinations.
Thank you so very much for the scripture message you provided. It spoke to me in ways I did not expect. And was exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you! And God Bless!
Again, many thanks for the great presentation on bullet variation. Your presentation had me thinking constantly, trying to come up with practical ways for me to test possible effects of any differences I might observe. If I had to use one word to describe your piece, my choice would be "inspirational."
I got into major debt in my twenties, largely because of tremendous medical bills. Body tried to kill me a couple of times. I've been working on it steadily, and I'm only a few months away from being completely out of it.
I had a 8 x 57 Mauser mil. rifle with a slightly oversize bore but it was a good shooter . I took some soft lead slugs & put valve grinding compound on them & shot them with a very few grains of Unique . I stopped at a little under 333 & shot some finer polishing compound . It shot well .
Lots of good information in there, Greg, thanks very much. I have a passion for precision but am new to precision shooting. With the exception of a rifle I'm now having made, my equipment isn't anywhere near your level. And, of course, there's the most important variable: competence of the guy behind the scope. Here your statement "many of you out there may not see any of this" applies! But your organization, delivery, and content will be useful. It took me about an hour and 20 minutes to get through that part of the video (I didn't stay for the religious stuff—one among several reasons I find your videos to be of mixed utility), simply because I kept stopping to take notes. Thanks again!
