After a few years of traveling across the world by night trains let's see if the Intercity Notte is still as good as in my memories...

In Spain we killed all the night trains to remove as much competence as possible from our ridiculously oversized and loss-making high-speed network, it's grotesque. Portugal is still begging us to resume the Hendaye-Madrid-Lisbon night train because the Spanish unilateral decision to remove it left them isolated, and what's our reply? Nah, just build a high-speed line.
Congrats Italians for doing things right.
