Is this the most SECRET and hidden fortress in the world?! My son and I went off-grid to track down rumors of a secret 100-year-old mountain stronghold—and we actually found it. Hidden above the clouds and abandoned by time, this crazy discovery was worth every step. What do you think this fortress was originally built for? Let us know in the comments!

Thank you for this awesome part 2! The scenery with all the greens and the river is just absolutely beautiful. And then this insane fortress on top of it all, not ruined by vandalism or graffitis. Absolutely nuts! 😊 Glad to see your feet carrying you up that crazy terrain. 🍀
Congratulations to EE for those straight "A"s - you rock!

Even the local spiders must struggle with this web of barbed wire.

I never expected that fortress to look like that on the inside. The bunk beds were a total surprise. Pretty interesting as to how they were built. If you were a concrete or barb wire manufacturer you had to make a fortune in those days. They were going to make sure no one was going to get to this location. Very nice adventure with many interesting features.

Were the ones putting in the barbwire fishermen used to making nets LOL it sure looks like they might have been. What a view from the top, the locals definitely did not want to give up any land to any outsiders based on all the wire they used at their little forts. Glad to see you both out and about again take care dear friends.

Amazing. Part 2 did not disappoint. Well done to both of you for doing that spectacular trek up the side of that mountain. That was some climb. But seeing that barbed wire entanglement still in place, untouched, and still doing its job. That was amazing. It's pretty obvious no one has disturbed that fortress outpost too much over the years. And it was good to see that the inside is free from rubbish and graffiti. I can imagine for the troops stationed there, life was very "cozy", with not much privacy, and room to relax. And I can bet they did not enjoy the climb up, as much as they would have the climb down. Thank you both for making this journey for us, and bringing us this amazing location! Stay Strong!

What an amazing site, no one can get through all that barbed wire without getting chewed up. The inside of the bunker was very interesting the way it was set up. Thank you and EE so much for making the climb to share such a surprise. Hope all is well. Congratulations to EE for doing so well in his school lessons. 😊

WOW. That is all I can say about that area!!! I loved the area. Oh my, I could easily see myself living somewhere around there. Makes me think of my Summer's when I was a kid. My parents had a Summer home on top of a mountain. Boy, was that awesome!! Yes, I do love the mountains. That wire system; oh my gravy, did that take some time to do. Unbelievable on how they did that. What else stuck out, were those "spikes" that were all around the top of that bunker. Whoever designed that must of had some "medieval" blood in them lol. Boy, did I enjoy that outing. Makes me want to head out and go back to the mountains! Thanks for sharing with us. How is everything? Hope all is well. AND, WTG EE on those "A's"!!! Take care.
