Eight years ago, Miriam started her snail farming journey with just 70 snails she picked from her environment.
No big capital. No fancy setup.
Today, she runs Tejiri Farms, a structured snail farming business with multiple systems in one location, including free-range, greenhouse, and intensive systems (both soil and soilless), as well as snail slime extraction.
In this episode of The Legacy Level series, we sit down with Miriam, a trained Agric graduate, to break down:
• How she grew from 70 snails to thousands
• The different snail farming systems and how they work
• Why snail farming is often misunderstood
• The business model behind snail slime extraction
• Lessons for young people looking to start small and grow intentionally
This is a business story about systems, patience, and strategy.
📌 Watch till the end to understand what actually makes snail farming work.
