On January 25th the kpop group MAVE debuted with the song Pandora.

Everything about the group seems very normal and regular, 4 members, a girl crush concept, a futuristic music video, music show performances, nothing out of the ordinary, except, none of the members are real.

As the kpop industry and technology continue to further develop and merge, many are wondering if MAVE and groups like it are the future of kpop and what that would mean for real idols and the legacy of the industry.
