1:58 "former NWO member?" Excuse me, but when you're NWO, you're NWO 4 LIFE

It's insane that Sting knew exactly why he shouldn't have signed with WWE, did it anyways and they did to him exactly what was expected

Sting could've stayed with TNA and then transition to AEW and nobody would've complained.

I've always loved how, even in the moment. Nobody blamed ddp for the stalker gimmick. They always said, "Wait, you're having him do THIS!"

Sting at least got the retirement tour he deserved in AEW. Which, don't get me wrong, has plenty of issues in its own right, but they did right by Sting.
And yeah, there's a notable pattern here that a lot of these guys had at least decent success in WCW (and other orgs) before coming in, only for Vince to bury them. And a good amount were fed to HHH.

Brawl For All completely destroyed both Steve Williams and Bart Gunns careers respectively. TERRIBLE IDEA

At least we can say Sting's AEW run (mostly) washed away the awfulness of his WWE run.

1.25x is the normal speed ….not sure why they keep slowing down the voiceover

Sting knew he was gonna be mistreated in WWE after the fall of WCW, and it was solidified at WM 31 as beating a WCW guy

Kenta was injured most of his NXT time.

I liked Motivational Speaker DDP. And he helped bring up Christian as a solo performer. Its a shame he got hurt.

DDP has said repeatedly that the only thing he regretted in WWE was his first angle with Taker. He said "Hey, I won multiple titles and never seen myself as a main event guy. I enjoyed it."

And when it comes to supernatural gimmicks, Taker wasn't a supernatural gimmick. He was a spooky gimmick. Spooky works, supernatural never does. Every time Taker did supernatural stuff, it fell completely flat.

AEW showed WWE exactly how you book an icon's final run with Sting. WWE was pure cancer for what they did to Sting.

Sting got wasted by signing with WWE

Stone Cold/ Buff Bagwell skit made me smile and i knew THEN Buff was DONE

I was in attendance at that Raw in Tacoma Washington where Buff Bagwell & Booker T main evented & can tell you that the crowd booed the heck out of both of them mainly because they were expecting a main event with WWF talent not ex WCW talent. It didn't help that Buff put out a terrible performance in the ring to justify the booing. In fact because the match was so bad, the biggest pop of the night was actually when most of the roster came out after the show ended to beat up Buff. The other thing I remember about this show was that SmackDown was taped right after it meaning I got 4 hours of wrestling for $15 (back when ticket prices were reasonable) & buying my first wrestling t-shirt which was a Hardy Boyz shirt.

I’ve long wondered if Finn Balor’s initial push in NXT was originally planned for KENTA, but shifted when he was injured.

Well without WWE, Sting wouldnt be able to say hes challenged for a world title on PPV in WWE, WCW, TNA, AEW & NWA

...True story: DDP's motivational speaker gimmick actually helped me through a tough time in my life. I know it was stupid and cheesy as hell...but for that, I look back on it fondly. lol

9:47 That's nothing; Sid's powerbomb broke Virgil's nose!
