My God, how I've loved this man though we never met. I've  never even seen him in person but his ministry through these lectures and sermons has been a life savior. One of the most enriching ministries in my life. Oswald Chambers, CS Lewis and Dallas Willard. How much they have each meant to my Christian life!! Love Dallas so dearly.

I pray that God gives me strengh to live at least some of the great amount of truth that I have learned through the life of this man of God. The world was simply not worthy of him.

I discovered Dr. Willard in 2013. His writings changed my mind about what the gospel means. He once said something to the effect that if you think Jesus was nice, but not very smart, you will never make him your teacher. When so many "gospels" are paraded around today, what Jesus actually taught and preached is as relevant today as ever. Mark chapter one is as clear an example as I have found.

Recently I have been so very blessed to have access to this man's teaching in book form and through YouTube and the website. How thankful I am for the internet, and access to it through my little kindle. My life is being transformed by the grace of God working in my heart to transform me into the image of Christ in me.

Brilliant expose by Dallas Willard of how universities and academics, including Christian professors and students, leave out Jesus in error.
"And one of the reasons why in the academic world many Christians have a constant struggle of faith is because they are taking too seriously the random, impersonal, pointless view of the universe as an authoritative position. And they do not stand confidently with the knowledge that a universe as Trinitarian, as personal, as purposeful, as creative, as full of freedom and beauty, is a reality.”

Marvelous wisdom.  I think it’s time for me to read his books.

Thank you!

Dallas got it right !
