27 ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ Punjab ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਨੇ Court ਦਾ ਰੁਖ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। SAD ਆਗੂ Bikram Singh Majithia ਅਤੇ Congress MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira ਨੇ Chandigarh District Court ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੱਗੀ ex-parte interim injunction ਹਟਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਦਾਇਰ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। Court ਨੇ Dr. Gurpreet Kaur ਨੂੰ Notice ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਮੰਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੀ ਸੁਣਵਾਈ 23 October ਨੂੰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

ਇਹ ਮਾਮਲਾ Punjab ਦੇ CM Bhagwant Mann ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ Dr. Gurpreet Kaur ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਾਇਰ Defamation Case ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ₹5 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਕਥਿਤ ਮੰਗ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ Gurpreet Kaur ਨੇ ਨਕਾਰਦਿਆਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਨਾਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਸੀ।

8 September ਨੂੰ Court ਨੇ Majithia, Khaira ਅਤੇ retired Justice Ranjit Singh ਨੂੰ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ unverified defamatory material publish ਜਾਂ circulate ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਸੀ। ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ Justice Ranjit Singh ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ interim restraint ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।

ਹੁਣ ਨਜ਼ਰ 23 October ਦੀ ਸੁਣਵਾਈ 'ਤੇ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ Majithia ਅਤੇ Khaira ਦੀਆਂ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ 'ਤੇ Gurpreet Kaur ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ।
