Why are people in the comments saying these two don’t have the right to answer this question, since one is divorced and the other is childless? Javed Akhtar did divorce his wife, that’s true, but he also stopped drinking alcohol afterwards, did his best to redeem himself, and raised his kids with love and care. He consulted Honey over every single decision regarding them, and always gave them their space to do what they chose. He was a bad husband, but definitely a good father and grandfather. Speaking of Shabana Azmi, she, once again, was in the wrong in some ways, but good with children. She was careful and friendly with Akhtar’s kids, and got along wonderfully with them. They are quite qualified to answer this question.

This is  an unrelated  comment but this is about  the essence  of  India,which  these two  sensitive  individuals  often  speak about. Look  at the bright  bindi on  Shabanaji's forehead. I am   a Hindu and almost never wear  one  and both are alright.

In my comment  made a few hours back about Javed and shabana , there were some technical errors leading g to spelling errors.pranesh pillai which is javed sheikhs original name was typed wrongly as Ramesh Pillai.This is regretted.some alphabets were typed wrongly.error is regretted.
