I saw a video of her singing when she was under ten years old— (four or five)—and she was already spellbinding and moving; she sang with the purity of a heart expressing itself—it was utterly deeply affecting. Since then, she has taken lessons and learned vocal techniques that she has mastered beautifully. However, I await the day when her heart sings once more, setting aside the mannerisms and classical repertoire that most professional singers eventually adopt at some point in their careers.
Those who manage to achieve this are exceptionally rare, for beyond exceptional talent, it requires genius—the mark of a true prodigy.
