Guess ive always gone backwards with grits, learn something new everyday. Thanks Ben

The blow torch is awesome!

Good information..... thanks Ben....👍

Yeah you should have gotten a kickback for the torches you sold lol! I bought 2! Glad you mentioned the grinder speed, too fast is definitely not good...ask me how I know lol! A couple of things that I do a little different than you do, first I built my own surfacer that is reversable. By making a couple of passes with the tire rotating away from me then a couple with it rotating towards me it creates a crosshatch pattern on the tire.  The other thing I do differently is that I use a buffer similar to yours at the track because it's quick and easy but when I'm at home and have more time I usually use a belt sander.  The belt sander makes it a little easier to get a consistent finish for me.  Great video!

Bought one of those torches immediately. Way better than the small flame.

I will add that Ben brings up a good point. Depends on the surface youre racing on. The more rubbered up tracks or hard surface you would likely find more speed on the finer sand/polish. From my experience. It affects the heat and grip levels. @27:20 in he mentions this.

Does anyone know why with burris sometime ya get these spots on the tire, that are slimey sticky gooeyish when ya prep them.and only way to get rid of it is run the tire

Ik its probably a dumb question but have u ever messed with dirt late model tires

Ok. Non kart related but serious question. Where can I get the music download from?

You're doing it all wrong!     Just Kidding!!! great video!
