When is the last time you went to Chuck E. Cheese? 🐸⬇

I think the reason kids don't care about the animatronics anymore is because they're not being maintained well. The shows aren't very "hyped up", and kids nowadays have way shorter attention span (probably due to their cocomelon ipads and what not. I usually see my younger cousins clicking from one video to the next without even finishing it.) I think the people who actually care about the robots could possibly save them. Seeing older footage of the shows, seeing how they schedule when the show starts, how the lights shine onto the characters as they perform, it just really brings attention to them. When the curtains close, the mascot then comes out as another way of entertaining guests. I usually have a snack while watching youtube and i get your point of kids not having anything to look at but a dance floor and a giant ipad screen. CEC kind of lost touch. I'm pretty sure if they'd just do some things differently and actually make the show entertaining, work on the animatronic better, and get the show to really pop, these robots could most likely, 100%, be saved.

Video idea: go to any Chuck E. Cheese’s Location and do a challenge where everyone gets their own card and whoever gets the most tickets wins everyone’s tickets! 🐸

The age is most certainly a factor, but the fact they removed the curtain definitely contributed to their deterioration.

Think about it: When Rockafire wasn’t actively performing they had the curtain covering them up, (or at least from footage ive seen) which meant they could be switched off and not be moving around, because no one could see them.

The CEC robots don’t have a curtain, so they’re always visible. Switching them off isn’t as much of an option because kids can ALWAYS see them, so they’re always moving, causing more wear and tear on the mechanisms and skins.

I Like How All Of The Rare Chuck E Cheese Stages Are In Pennsylvania

Thanks for documenting all of this so our childhood can be preserved in some small way!

Seeing Crow dipping his toes in the animatronic community and having fun with it is really satisfing

The reason you dont see animatronics anymore is because millennials turned them into horror characters and now kids are scared of them. Same thing happened to clowns so the millennials ruined it for everyone and you cant see animatronics or clowns in person anymore.

i currently work at this chuck e cheese and its crazy to think that this place holds some good memories for a lot of people

1:45😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Chuck e cheese was like "hi"

Despite being born in 1999 I think I prefer the newer Chuck e design? The walk around characters and animatronics freaked me out as a kid and the more mouse like chuck e design is cute. That said, I do have more of an appreciation for the older design now that I'm older and less creeped out by it. It's got is own charm and it's sad to see them go

As a Brit who will now most likely never get to see a Chuck E Cheese animatronic in person now, I’m very grateful for these videos! That said, everything, you did a B&W cut to Pasquali took me out. So funny

Kids nowdays grew up watching fnaf, they relate animatronics with horror icons and some are scared of being near one

Loving these Chuck E. Cheese videos also didn’t know cec tried to keep the animatronics so they came up with the CU 1 stage .🐸

Fun fact: Chuck e's make believe band location was the ones fnaf flix went if you know who fnaf flix is you already know

1:37 he wants your frontal lobe

In Iowa, we have a stage like this with the animatronics looking the exact same as those. However Chuck E. has his own stage connected with the main stage along with Pasqually.

3:37 if you pause and look in the background you can make out the twin towers behind the characters, dating it even more than how it looks

I remember the old Paramus New Jersey CEC used to have that old art too (as well as a light of the old 70s-80s rat Chuck E. Cheese in the back) before it closed in about 2013-2014-ish (I might be wrong about the years) and it was so cool! It was a tiny CEC though….

Good video! Whitehall is the best location to visit. It’s a shame that this stage was barley maintained.
