🙏 HANUMAN AVATAR: THE STORY OF NEEM KAROLI BABA 🙏
What happened when an unassuming saint was asked to leave a train because he did not have a ticket?
According to a famous story shared by devotees, Neem Karoli Baba was once travelling by train when a railway official asked him to get off. Baba quietly stepped down and sat near the railway tracks. However, when the train was ready to depart, something extraordinary happened—it refused to move.
The railway staff checked the engine, inspected the wheels and made several attempts to restart the train, but nothing worked. The powerful locomotive remained completely still.
Eventually, the railway officials realized that this was not an ordinary mechanical failure. They approached Neem Karoli Baba, apologized to him and respectfully requested that he return to the train.
Baba agreed, but reportedly asked the railway authorities to treat spiritual seekers with respect and consider establishing a railway station in that area for the convenience of local people. When Baba returned to the train, the engine started and the journey continued.
This extraordinary incident became one of the most famous stories associated with Neem Karoli Baba.
Neem Karoli Baba was a deeply respected Indian saint and an ardent devotee of Lord Hanuman. His followers remember him for his compassion, simplicity, wisdom and unconditional love. Many devotees consider him a divine manifestation of Hanuman and lovingly call him “Maharaj Ji.”
His teachings were simple yet powerful:
“Love everyone, serve everyone, remember God and tell the truth.”
Neem Karoli Baba later became closely associated with Kainchi Dham, a spiritual ashram surrounded by the peaceful hills of Uttarakhand. Today, devotees from India and around the world visit Kainchi Dham seeking peace, blessings and spiritual guidance.
