There was a huge, and I mean massive, GM battery plant being built in my area.
As of a few weeks ago, maybe a month, they have announced the halt to construction...to be postponed indefinitley.

Why hasn't barra been fired? She's been tanking gm for years lining her pockets the whole time.

Look what happens when a non-car person is put in charge of GM.  This twit has destroyed GM.  The ongoing 6.7L engine is astonishing.  I don't think a Lee Iacocca could save this.  Twit Barra totaled this company.

New vehicles are more then I paid for my house years ago. I drive my 2002 Dodge ram no Payne ts and built to last longer then the new vehicles do. The prices to build new homes people can't afford. People are choosing old over new. E. V. Wouldn't waste my money in them. To bad there business is going to crap but they wouldn't listen to what customers wanted.

EV  is a ancient tech that existed before gas/diesel vehicles and if it has not fixed the issue after more than 100 years  it is dead end tech. The first electric car was created in 1832 and it has never really managed to maintain it becoming more than a fad for wealthy and the echo worshipers.

GM building bad cars AND not following through on repeated stated big EV plans is what  the company is all about now.

Bring Oldsmobile and Pontiac back, rehire all those employees. Get back to you roots and once again start manufacturing top notch automobiles keeping all production here in the United Sates, and once again you will have built a very good strong ethos within GM, you can turn this around.
Bring back the old great's, such as the entire line up of Chevrolet trucks, like you use to have, Scottsdale, Bonanza, Cheyenne, Bring back the Monte Carlo, and the El-Camino, to say a few, And I can 100% promise you will not be able to, make them fast enough. You can turn this around. Bring back the Firebirds, and the Oldsmobile 442. You can turn this around.
