I miss laptops that had a replaceable battery, all the ports you need and ports you'll never need.

The icons looked much cooler back then

If your clock and date are wrong then you won’t be able to connect to most websites

"The most Apple way possible: with money". That had me actually laughing out loud.

Idk if you changed the clock to the correct date and time, but if you didn't, the internet will not work. A few years ago I was trying to get files from my g4 powerbook. Turned out correcting the time solved alot of issues, including the internet

This computer will work perfect with new ram, an ssd and some open source software. How do I know. I use one and it’s perfect

Just enough ram to run one tab of chrome or safari.

Please take it to the Apple Store and ask why it won't update to the lastest version.

Hey Sam, you can still browse the web if you use a different browser. Believe it or not you can technically browse the web on a Commodore 64

Up until earlier this year I was still working on a 2009 iMac. Apple made solid products that were worth the money.

This is just how all laptops were, and should still be. Idgaf about how thick and "unstylish" it might look.

I'm 22 and this was my first laptop, a hand-me-down from my grandma. This was the computer that introduced me to Apple, its what I did my homework on and, although almost as useless then as it is today, this was what my life revolved around as a kid. Lotta love for this one.

I still have this laptop. Everytime it has broken over the years I have fixed it. I refuse to let it die.

I EMPATHISE WITH THAT COMPUTER, being both old and yet still partially functioning.

I'm surprised they haven't remotely bricked it yet... or detonated it.

Omg this is the exact laptop I still have--his name is Daisy and he runs a little slow, but still beautifully! I use old, subscription-free Photoshop on it and I love it~
