SCTV is and always will be my favourite tv show 😅😂

Always loved Earl and Floyd.

I love these longer clips!

OMG. Cracks me up. Classic comedy!

I could watch SCTV News all day long

Earl, that white suit is causing a flare... You're glowing like a neon light!!!

Whenever I'm feeling down, I think "At least I'm not in Togoland"

They worked well together.

Some guys are funny !!!📺🇨🇦😁

Top notch talent

Earl's handling dog stories was a spoof of one of the aspects of "tabloid TV news," which emphasized fires, crime, sex, tearjerkers, animal stories, and human interest stories.  They seemed, especially after Season I, Part II (Episodes #14-26), to parody anything about local TV news which made headlines - including, apparently, referring to "60 Minutes' " 1974 piece on the local TV news ratings war in San Francisco.

Hard to say if the lapels are exaggerated or not. The 1970s was a helluva decade for men's suits.

Camembert was such a 'cheesy' news announcer. 🤣

Better than SNL and MPFC combined. And I love both those shows.

Wake up Earl 😂😂

❤❤❤❤❤

😆

This was my all time favorite SCTV nes segment:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYR7rHc_fCU

This is making my birth week. My Birthday is Next Sunday, and I love watching and looking up pictures of both young Eugene Levy and Joe Flaherty. I'll be 29 next Sunday, and I love watching SCTV everyday. Plus, the year 1977 was 20 years before I was born.  The late Joe Flaherty was so handsome, and a dream Casanova. He reminds me of the love child of 1987 late Bob Saget, and my favorite French actor, Thierry Lhermitte.

The News is probably my favorite bit of them all...."Scientific Proof Varifying the existence of God..."
