When highly textured old men frighten, your PC's temperature will heighten till it chickens out and powers down abruptly kicking us out of the the foggy town. so says Mr. Stewart
This lady is passing up on shovels and hammers like she has the survival instinct of a cow leaning on a electric fence. Like come on lady, put one of those bricks in your purse and at least try!
I really hope they are not going to do the terrible fanfiction tier idea of ooooooh all the monsters are just the townsfolk you have been beating with pipes oooooooh....
So far, I do like this. I think it's the most interesting Silent Hill game since 2. A lot is going to hinge on the atory, as it must.
Particularly fond of these Wood-Splitter-faced fellows. Design-wise, every SH and survival-spookem needs its lying figure, it's Busty Rawshock if you will, and this is a pretty good one. Fits the aesthetic we expect from SH otherworld junguses, and it's a pretty good visual metaphor for a migraine. Seems like a cruel irony to give you nowt but wooden planks to defend with.
I'm digging this one well enough so far. We'll see where it ends up, but I'm thinking while it's probably not going to make my top SH games list, it at least actually feels like it belongs in the series, unlike SHf. Maybe it will surprise me - I did like Stories Untold.
