I have struggled with this bank of content for years. I grew up a preacher's kid in a pentecostal church. No matter what I did, I was going to hell. Every day of my life, my dad was dooming me to hell. EVERY THING WAS A SIN!!!! But, when I left the church, and read the Bible on my own from front to back searching for real truth and freedom it wasn't so much about the law and code as it is about the "gift" God gave to me. I had to free myself from those who were full of jealousy, judgemental people who threw me under the bus when I would mess up. They drug me through the mud and for many years, I dwelt in that same mud trying to hide, not for my sins, but from how they made me feel and it impacted my relationship with God and confusion was what I had become.....But watching you guys tonight, brought a big smile to my face because what I was reading in the Word of God is exactly what you touched on tonight and for that, I thank you! I have to say, I have been in a place where an entire congregation of so-called Holy Spirit filled people became a congregation of people with a Judas spirit. It was like their attributes and behaviors were of God and they took God's throne for themselves. That's a ferocious kind of hell to go through but God's Word gives life to the fullest and I forgive those who honestly believe they are holier than thou.....and I really appreciate you talking about this subject you both brought it to the table in layman's simplicity and it made all the beautiful sense in the world.....God bless you both!

I absolutely needed this understanding. I get confused with law and grace, I have a Mormon sister that has been in the word longer than me and it was just confusing because I kept thinking I was in trouble, vs the relationship. God bless you both!! I don’t know where I’d be without Ron carpenter.

When I got filled with the Holy Spirit I thought I had to change my beliefs on salvation. I then realized that the conditions was placed by man Jesus paid once and for all. I received peace of mind. As a pastor now I have learned so much from you both.

Such a great explanation. So many will be free if they listen to this. I don’t get rid of my child just because they disappoint me! 😢

If we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth there remains no more sacrifice for sin. Hebrews 10:26 -31

I am so grateful on this topic you both talked on about whether or not we lose our salvation. I’ve been told the opposite. Thank you! God bless you both!
