I hope she sued the tailor and dry cleaner.

She is there because she needs a dress for her wedding.   She can hash it out in court with the people responsible later.

Her original dress was so damn beautiful. I feel so bad for her.

I had a bride buy a dress from me on a sale. It was a designer dress that retailed for a small fortune and my bride bought it at a great price.  The only thing on the dress is a little a few spots on the inside which happens as dresses get tried on repeatedly. Nothing showed from the outside. We offer to spot clean despite it being sold as is but the bride just wants to take it.  Great!  She comes back weeks later demanding her money back because she took it to a dry cleaner and they destroyed it.  I still remember how irrational it felt to be blamed for someone else’s stupidity.

Not understanding why a tailor would send a new dress to a dry cleaner. Bride says she has to buy the same dress twice. But wouldn't the tailor have some responsibility? Seems like part of the story isn't being told.

VERA in alterations is a true gem!  She comes in a saves the day!!!

Guys, im sure she did sue but due to the time restraint, they needed a dress asap.
They will deal with the rest in court and get reimbursed both dresses, and hopefully + some for the stress it caused and extras it costed (like having to travel back to the store, they charge you to make an appt it's like $100 iirc, etc)

I'm a sewist and I have great respect for tailors, but I wouldn't take a wedding dress to one for an alteration unless they have a lot of experience with wedding dresses. It's a very specialized type of sewing. I know if someone brought me a wedding dress I would turn it down and advise them to consult bridal and formal shops to find out who is good at those alterations.

Vera saves the day ! So talented and calm under pressure. A treasure

Randy looking so young. This video WASN'T a couple hrs ago 😂.

Pay for the same dress TWICE? Absolutely not I would have that tailor and dry cleaner be paying for it

This show is the exact reason we bought our suit and dress before we even planned the wedding, and I'm absolutely glad we did because the tailor screwed it up my dress by a whole size and had to go get it fixed elsewhere.

She has to buy another dress?  Why is the dry cleaner not held responsible and has to reimburse her for the ruined dress?

Her original dress is just Gorgeous

This tailor spilt coffee or wine on it as she made alterations then sent to dry cleaner who had no idea if they could remove it from silky satin because once a stain sets its done... 😢 I would be charging that tailor tho😩

I say wear it as is ! Who has that kinda money to pay that much again!

I woukd sue the tailor and the dry cleaner
Having to buy the same dress beacuse someone you trusted ruined it is beyond hard. Some people would be unable to afford it.

That was so sweet that they found her the dress

I hope the tailor paid for the new dress.

I would try and sue the cleaners and recoup that money!
