5th avenue just looks like its been plonked in the middle of nowhere, a very interesting place i thought until 2 characters in the mask costumes lifted me off my feet for a photo opportunity, unexpected it was, try walking off without coughing up though and its a different story,

Yes ceverceria chepultepec is still considered a cheap localmpkace mexican hangs out. The cheapest on that side of the Quinta for sure but it's an exception. If you go north pass CTM all the bars have beer for 50 pesos it's the standard in Colosio 😅😅 that's my neighborhood 😊

As for wrist band do not wear it when out of the hotel , can stick it within a safe pocket when out and about makes more sense .

Pretty cool stuff. I'm sorry you didn't get to see GOOD live music at Fah and Bloody Mary. Couple of questions.

How come you didn't go further north on 5th? There are great pubs that are MUCH cheaper. On Av 5 and calle 38 is a place between Mariskinky and the farmacia that has men's day specials. A mug the size of 2 pints for 100 pesos, lime and salad included. Oh...Bar Loco in the 3rd floor? The original is opposite and on the second floor above Coyote...more dive bar than disco fever. Anyhoo...I enjoyed the walk about. Cheers.
