they literally sent an actual disco ball microphone to the space

fun fact: the microphone in space, was actually, legitimately taken to space for the music video

FYI, the group's leader S.Coups is currently in rehab for a severe injury to his knee (bone) that required major surgery and will take him months and months to heal. As a result he was unable to go with them to Budapest to film the video; so tongue in cheek they filmed his parts with him in a hospital wearing a bone outfit, yet still dancing along! That's why we see him on the phone as well as in the hospital.  :)

Fun fact! That mic on the space was really sent out to the space!

Thank you for reacting to SEVENTEEN's new song! Here's some suggestion,

- Rock with you
- Hot
- Super

Looking forward for more SEVENTEEN reaction videos!

Another tidbit, the member singing with the ant, playing the keyboard, and turning around smiling at the end is Woozi. He writes ALL of their music, and usually produces it. This was the first time they had someone else produce the song. Still...if there's a God of Music, it's Woozi!!  He has hundreds of copyrights and was voted the youngest Producer/Songwriter of the Year by the Asian Awards a couple of years ago. He's EXTRAORDINARILY talented! He's head of the Vocal sub-unit and is known as the VoBo (Voice Boss)!  He may be the shortest (5'5") member of the group, but his music is GIANT!!

the guy with the pink hair partying on the phone (scoups the leader) tore his ACL so he couldn’t film the MV with them.

12:35 fun fact, this disco ball mic was actually sent to space. it's an actual real footage lol

-HOT has A LOT of interesting edition (talking about the music video)
-CLAP has a good music video
-FEAR
-SUPER (its a new one)
-CHANGE UP has a unique aesthetic

Thank you so much for the reaction! If you haven't already, I'd recommend the HOT MV it has some crazy editing and the song is amazing too!

ooh ooh!! for more seventeen mvs that have really good editing i definitely recommend HOT, fallin' flower (japanese), fear, HIT, home;run! i love seeing breakdowns of how editors take scenes to the next level!!

You can chek another seventeen mv with great editing: Rock with you, Hot, Hit, Hitorijanai (japan mv),

all of seventeen's music is so good but some good mvs to start with (imo) are definitely Fear, Snap Shoot (one of the members of the group, mingyu, made the music video for it), Left and Right, Rock with You, and Hot!
also i'd love to see your reaction to the rest of the album! i cant even chose a favorite track rn bc i'm enjoying all of them so much

I literally love how you were so excited pausing and reacting from each transition scenes. I appreciate that man. Thank You for listening to SEVENTEEN's song.

Yes, please get more SVT! Since you're an editor, some of the coolest MV they've put out is:

Rock with you
Hoshi - Spider

You won't regret it, i promise!
(Subscribing in case you do get to do it)

'hot' by seventeen has rlly cool editing!

The smile jumping in the outfit/scenery change scene is also because he's singing that part. So his mouth would have been moving frame by frame anyways. Clever way to hide any discrepancies. Though personally, as a photographer and compositor, I think his face and neck are one shot and they are just changing his clothes.  Easier to hide and what I would have done.

SEVENTEEN "Not Alone" mv is one of my favorites!  the amount of seamless transitions and visuals are crazyyy.
its a Japanese song of theirs and it was filmed during COVID time.

SEVENTEEN-Hot 🔥

I would love to see a reaction to the full album. My favorites are Diamond Days (older Carats will especially appreciate the end of the song), Back 2 Back, and Monster! The whole album is really good. Seventeen never miss.

Sos and Monster goes hard ngl
